Esme Moniz-Cook is Professor of Psychology and Dementia Care Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Hull and founder Chair, now co-Chair of the Board of INTERDEM, an influential pan-European multi-professional applied research group dedicated to developing psychosocial approaches and support programmes for people with dementia and carers. She has worked in dementia care research and clinical services for over 30 years.Jill Manthorpe is Professor of Social Work at King’s College London and Director of the NIHR Policy Research Unit on Health and Social Care Workforce. She has worked in the voluntary sector and in education for many years, concentrating on services for older people.
