The stories range from a demonically violent alcoholic who was instantly delivered from his addiction when the demon was cast out, to a car crash which led to ten people joining the church; and from the purchase of land for a new church building at only a quarter of the price that the local council had demanded, to the full and permanent recovery of a small boy who had cancer in his one remaining kidney and was nothing but skin and bones, following ‘the noisiest prayer meeting I had ever attended’.
