Dominguez</b> is director of the Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, a past president of the Latin American Studies Association, and a founder and associated fellow of the Inter-American Dialogue. He has written, cowritten, and edited fifteen books on comparative and international politics in Latin America. The book's international roster of contributors features leading scholars of international relations in South and Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
