A little girl named Ella finds an ancient Native American medicine wheel on her parents’ ranch. Through her discovery she meets a wise old spider, a talking fox and an informative snake. The animals she meets on the ranch teach her the purpose of the medicine wheel and ultimately lead her to experiencing a message from the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit teaches Ella that no matter our color or beliefs we are all the same on the inside. The Great Spirit explains that humanity is now ready to understand the oneness of all things.

Katie Lee was born in Montana and raised in North Dakota. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She graduated with a double major in Spanish and Communications. She is a self-taught artist who started painting at a young age. She quickly found a passion for creating art and bringing things to life on the canvas. In 2008, she moved to Seattle, WA where she kick started her art career. After three years of selling in the Seattle area, her and her husband moved back to the Midwest. Today, her inspiration comes from her midwestern roots. She loves to find color in the seemingly colorless subjects that surround her daily. In 2017, she had the idea to write a children’s book based on a true-life experience. In the spring of 2019, she published her first children’s book. She continues to create art and refuses to see the world as anything but beautiful.
