Three Plays includes the play Rose, which is set in Canada and is about an actress who never marries. Three Husbands is about an actress who is self-obsessed and married three times. Taj Mahal is a love affair between a Hindu woman and a Muslim man. In all three plays, the writer has tried to show the different faces of women and how women act depending on their circumstances.

Taj Mahal offers several opportunities. I believe it could work effectively as a radio drama. Choreographed, I can see the play as a musical, because the sweep of time and events in the script call out for that kind of broad scope. The voices are clear and the conflicts and emotions resonate from the language on the page.
