Marek Hlasko, geboren 1934 in Warschau, arbeitete als Kraftfahrer, Hilfsarbeiter, Straßenhändler. Veröffentlichte ab 1954 in polnischen Zeitschriften. Ab 1958 lebte er im Exil im Westen, vor allem in Israel und in der Schweiz. Hlasko starb 1969 in Wiebaden.
