Each topic is introduced with a lead chapter that provides a conceptual background for the topic, for example, leadership. The following chapters offer a case study or class room exercise that illustrate the conceptual perspective with examples that can be used for class discussions. Jyoti Bachani is an associate professor at Saint Mary’s College of California. With a Ph D from London Business School, a masters in management science & engineering from Stanford, she had been a strategy consultant to Fortune 200 companies, with Strategic Decisions Group, and held managerial roles at Citibank and Tata Unisys. She has also been a Fullbright senior research scholar to India. A globally recognized expert on case-studies, she has authored several cases, articles and the book, Strategy Making in Nonprofit Organizations: A Model and Casetudies.
