Raising your beef, the right way and getting more meat in less time is the desire of every rancher. Thus, we know that beef animals are bovine breeds that have genetic characteristics suitable for slaughter to produce meat and derivatives. Figure 1. The country has the largest herd in the world and the activity is profitable and a considerable source of income. Additionally, beef produced in Brazil is highly appreciated both domestically and abroad. However, to be successful in raising beef cattle, it is necessary to use appropriate techniques to obtain quality products in less time and provide profitability to the rancher. This care ranges from the structure of the property, choice of breed of the animal, handling of the animals, feeding and administration of the property. In this document we will discuss the appropriate techniques to be successful in raising beef cattle.
