Melanie Gibbons Hallman is an assistant professor of graduate studies and co-coordinator of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Subspecialty at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing. Her career in prehospital and hospital emergency services spans more than 40 years, including serving as a nurse practitioner in emergency services and family practice settings since 1995.
