Muhammad Yunus was professor of economics at Chittagong College and founder of the Grameen Bank located in Bangladesh. He serves on the board of directors of the United Nations Foundation and has been the recipient of the Nobel Peace Price (awarded to him and the Grameen Bank in 2006).
