Prof. R.P. Mahapatra is currently working at SRM Institute of Science & Technology, DELHI-NCR Campus as Professor and Head – Computer Science & Engineering and Dean Admissions.Prof. R.P. Mahapatra has vast experience of 20 years as an academician, researcher and administrator. During these 20 years, he has worked India and abroad. He has been associated with Mekelle University, Ethopia for more than 2 years. Six candidates have successfully completed their Ph.D. under his supervision and 8 students are perusing their research under his guidance.Prof. R.P. Mahapatra has authored more than 70 research papers which are published in international journals like Inderscience, Emerald, Elsevier, IEEE and Springer. He has authored three books, five book chapters and two granted patents. He is a fellow member of I.E. (India), Senior member of IACSIT, Singapore, Life member of ISTE, Member of IEEE and many more reputed bodies. He is a recipient of the Institution Award from Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta on 56th Annual Technical Session on 15th Feb.2015, Madhusudan Memorial Award from Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta on 57th Annual Technical Session on 14th Feb.2016, Certificate of Excellence from SRM University, NCR Campus. on 9th Feb.2015.
Sateesh Kumar Peddoju is an Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is the Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and recipient of Cloud Ambassador Award from AWS Educate, IBM SUR Award, Microsoft Educate Award, university merit scholarship, best teacher award in his previous employment, best paper/presentation awards, and travel grants. He has publications in reputed journals like IEEE TIFS, IEEE Access, IEEE Potentials, MTAP, WPC, IJIS, and PPNA, and conferences like ACM Mobi Com, IEEE Trust Com, IEEE MASS, ACM/IEEE ICDCN, and ISC. He is the co-author of the book “Security and Storage Issues in the Cloud Environment” and co-editor of the book “Cloud Computing Systems and Applications in Healthcare”.Sateesh is serving as a reviewer for IEEE TCC, IEEE TSC, IEEE Access, MTAP, COSE, COMNET, JNCA, and CLUS. He is the Program Chair for IEEE MASS 2020 and founding Steering Committee Chair for SLICE 2018. He is on board for IEEE SLICE, IEEE DSEA, IEEE MASS, IEEE ATC, IEEE Smart Comp, IEEE i NIS, and Io TSMS. He has received grants from NMHS, MEITY, Railtel, MHRD, DST, IBM, Samsung, CSI, Microsoft. He is guiding many interns, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral students.His research interests include Cloud Computing (Cloud, Edge, and Fog), Ubiquitous Computing (Mobile, Pervasive, and Io T), and Security (Network, Cloud, Io T, Mobile, and Blockchain).
Dr. Pritee Parwekar is an Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology. She has been an academician from last 20 years. She has been awarded Ph D in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks. She holds a life membership of IEEE, ACM, CSI, ISTE. She hasalso contributed as Computer Society of India (CSI) State Student Coordinator for two years. Her research interests include Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Wireless Sensor Networks, Software Engineering, Information Retrieval Systems, Social Media, Data Mining. She has published more than 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals with SCI, SSCI, Scopus Index, and in conference proceeding of Springer and IEEE. She has been a resource person to many Workshops, FDPs and International Conferences. She has been program chair and organizing chair of many international conferences. She has been invited to many workshops and international conferences as organizer, session chair, and member in Advisory/Program committees. She has peer-reviewed IEEE Network Magazine, Springer, IGI Global, Inderscience, Evolutionary Intelligence (EVIN) Journals, Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, Multimedia Tools and Applications, Expert Systems and many more international journals. Shehas guided many M. Tech Thesis, B. Tech Major and Minor Projects. Presently she is guiding 4 Ph D scholars.
Dr. Lavika Goel is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jaipur, Rajasthan. She earlier worked at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani for 4.5 years during July 2015- Jan 2020. She holds a corporate experience working at Oracle India Private Ltd. She is Ph.D., M.E. and B. Tech with distinction in Computer Science & Engineering from Delhi Technological University.She was awarded the prestigious ‘Young Scientist award’ by VIFRA International Foundation in 2015.She has been endorsed by Prof. Ajith Abraham, who is the pioneering author of hybrid intelligent Systems and Director, Machine Intelligence & Research (MIR) Labs, USA on Researchgate. She also coauthored a paper with him which Prof. Abraham himself presentedin Mexico in 2012. She is offered to write 2 books currently for Cambridge University Press and Wiley India, one from her Ph.D. research work and the other which will be a text book on Artificial Intelligence for undergraduate students. She recently received in May 2018, approval of external funding of Rs. 144.32 lakhs as Principal Investigator from Department of Science and Technology (DST), NRDMS division and of Rs. 40 lakhs as Co-Principal Investigator from Department of Science and Technology (DST), ICPS division for her novel ideas of using nature inspired heuristics for effectively developing a recommender system for two different applications, one for designing a question answering system and other for crop selection in Rajasthan, India. Based on her background assessment as outstanding researcher and current performance, she was awarded the key role as the Head of Research Initiatives and projects at BITS Pilani, for coordinating theaward of sponsored projects from government agencies. In addition to this, she is a true team leader and she is one of the founding members of a popularly growing research group, called as the Computational Intelligence and Research Group (Ci RG), now a registered national society of importance where she serves as the Quality Assurance Head and Technical Core Committee member. She is also the Director and founding member of Sports Engineering Association (SEA) of India where she is focusing on improving sports through AI.She has published around 60 research papers in SCI indexed International conferences, journals and book chapters including Elsevier, IEEE, Taylor and Francis, Springer, etc.
