Francis was diagnosed with schizophrenia circa 1995. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in 1993 and his Master of Social Work in 2006. Francis has been practicing as a talk-therapist for over a decade. His current professional status is that of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Based on his personal experience with schizophrenia as combined with his clinical acumen, Francis offers a rare perspective on successfully overcoming mental illness. In On Conquering Schizophrenia, Francis offers a breakthrough paradigm in the conceptualization of schizophrenia and in promotion of efficacious psychiatric recovery.
