Children with psychological disorders are able to benefit from behavioural therapy. Careful diagnostic clarification and treatment planning are prerequisites for successful therapy. In addition to a discussion of the theoretical principles of behavioural therapy and the current status of psychotherapeutic research on childhood and adolescence, practical advice is also provided on how to prepare therapy applications.
