About the author

Xing Fan is Professor in the college of chemistry and chemical engineering at Chongqing University, China. After his Ph D from Peking University, China, he started his research career in Chongqing University. His research focuses on nanomaterials for energy applications. He has published more than 50 scientific publications and invented 50 patents. He was selected as the New Century Excellent Talents in University by the ministry of education of China in 2013, and awarded the first prize for the progress in science and technology of Chongqing in 2014.
