I never thought I would be an author, but this book has a message I believe all people should read, especially healthcare workers. Our son went through a year being in hospitals and rehab centers, and the outcome was his death. It was a very traumatic experience for me and my family. We never thought it would end the way it did. Our son was a Christian and touched many lives along the way during his fight to live and brought many people to the Lord. We have a very close family and have always enjoyed being together very much. Family is very important to us. Even though Rick is gone, he will never be forgotten and will be forever in our hearts.
