Das aktuelle Jahrbuch ist das Ergebnis der 7. Internationalen Übersetzungswissenschaftlichen Konferenz, die im Oktober 2023 in Pobierowo an der Ostsee von der Universität Szczecin und der Universität der Kommission für Nationale Bildung Kraków veranstaltet wurde. Die allgemeine und die literarische Übersetzung sowie die Fachübersetzung stehen erneut im Mittelpunkt des Interesses von Übersetzungswissenschaftler:innen und -praktiker:innen aus Polen und Deutschland. Der Titel des Bandes verweist auf eine universelle Auffassung der Übersetzung und deren Forschungstrends, was die Erschaffung einer Plattform für die Verständigung und den Erfahrungsaustausch sowohl für Theoretiker:innen der Translatorik als auch für Praktiker:innen der Übersetzungskunst ermöglicht.
The present yearbook is the result of the 7th International translation conference, held in October 2023 by the University of Szczecin/Poland and the University of the National Education Commission, Krakow/Poland. German and Polish translation scholars and translators were concerned with both general and literary translation as well as specialised translations. The title of the yearbook refers to the universal meaning of translation and its research trend which enables the creation of a platform for communication and experience exchange for both scholars and translators.
