Chris Andrews teaches at Western Sydney University. He has lived in Sydney; Melbourne; Wollongong and Newcastle; Australia. He has translated books of fiction from Spanish and French; including By Night in Chile by Roberto Bolaño; Ema; the Captive by César Aira; The Wind that Lays Waste by Selva Almada and A Bookshop in Algiers by Kaouther Adimi. He has also published two collections of poems: Cut Lunch and Lime Green Chair. In 2019; his poem ‘This is the Crow with the Broken Caw’ won the TLS Mick Imlah Poetry Prize.
