Li Jing, the Heavenly King Li, rose to the position of General of Chentang Pass with the help of the Goddess Shi Ji to serve under King Zhou of Shang. Many years later, Li Jing’s son accidentally killed a service boy of Shi Ji with an arrow. In response, Shi Ji brought Li Jing into her cave for questioning. Li Jing kneeled down and apologized, saying, "To requit kindness with enmity is an act of ingratitude. I am willing to bear the punishment for my son".
