Don Wood is a family man with four daughters and five grandchildren. He has a family-operated business in Sydney, Australia.
Don was a champion athlete. He is a current World Masters’ champion in the yachting field, and his yachting adventures have taken him to all the oceans of the world, including Cape Horn—short-handedly. He played rugby and soccer, and he is a self-confessed golf hacker. Whilst completing his army service, he was what was known in those days as a welterweight boxing champion. He raced catamarans worldwide representing Australia. He and his wife, Jean, loved life!
He had previously had success in inventing, and this turned out to be invaluable as he attempted to find a nonmedical solution to give to the world an alternative solution in the treatment of cancer. In his world travels, he got to understand different ethnic groups and their approach to handling health problems.
His life was shattered by the news that his beloved wife was diagnosed with a terminal liver melanoma. He made a promise to Jean, and having no medical knowledge, he set out to find alternative treatments for the terrible disease of cancer.
