When she reads a story to her children she enjoys the hidden communication between the author and the reader. One of her favorite children’s books is The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear, for the reason that the narrative is written to include the bear in the plane of the reader and in the story, at the same time.
