Eur ASEAA14: Material Culture and Heritage is the second of two volumes comprising papers originally presented at the Eur ASEAA14 (European Association of Southeast Asian Archaeologists) conference in 2012, updated for publication. The aim of the Eur ASEAA is to facilitate communication between different disciplines, to present current work in the field, and to stimulate future research. This international initiative aims to foster international scholarly cooperation in the field of Southeast Asian archaeology, art history and philology. This volume focuses substantially on topics under the broad themes of archaeology and heritage, material culture, environmental archaeology, osteoarchaeology, historic and prehistoric archaeology, ethnoarchaeology, and long-distance contact, trade and exchange.
