Isabella Stella Ballerina is a story that combines factual persons with elements of fantasy. It is a story of a young girl that had difficulty walking. When her grandmother Stella gave her a dancing ballerina teddy, she wanted to be like her. Her determination to achieve this made her dance at a ballet concert as a ballerina.

Isabella Stella Mingaars was born in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. She has two younger brothers, Lachlan Leon and Stefan Daniel. She loves writing stories about everything that interests her. She likes swimming, playing the piano and dancing. She attends Greek School classes. She has many friends and her best friend is Lauren. She loves having sleepovers with her grandma Stella at her house and spending time at her holiday house in Rye. Her favorite foods are spinach pie, chicken noodle soup and lots of ice cream.
