A columnist for the New Zealand Herald’s travel section, she also regularly contributes to the Toronto Star. As a full-time house sitter in New Zealand, she has lived as far north as Mangonui and as far south as Balclutha — an experience that has allowed her to gain an intimate understanding of the country’s people, landscape, and culture.
