The book is divided into eight chapters, where the reader will find works carried out by the Fuel Analysis Laboratory of the State University of Londrina, addressing the analysis of biofuel mixtures from different raw materials; optimization of alcoholic fermentation of extracts obtained from native Brazilian fruits; mathematical modeling in the efficiency of natural and synthetic antioxidants; the influence of metallic contaminants in oxidation; evaluation of catalysts in the biodiesel production and a proposal of mechanisms for the oxidation reaction in the presence of transition metals.

Karina Benassi Angilelli
She has a degree in Chemistry with Qualification in Technological Chemistry from the State University of Londrina; a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same institution. She is currently part of the faculty, as an adjunct professor, in the Department of Chemistry at the State University of Londrina, working in the undergraduate and graduate programs in Chemistry.
Letícia Thaís Chendynski
She has a degree in Chemistry with Qualification in Technological Chemistry from the State University of Londrina; a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same institution and pedagogical training from the Federal Technological University of Paraná. She is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of Paraná – Campus Palmas.
Ana Carolina Gomes Mantovani
She has a degree in Physics from the State University of Londrina with a sandwich period at the University of New Mexico (USA) and a Master’s Degree in Bioenergy from the State University of Londrina. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Physics at the State University of Londrina.
