Kristina Vučković is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Information Sciences at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she began to work as a research assistant in 2000 on a project entitled Machine Understanding of Natural Languages. She has more than thirty published papers in the areas of natural language processing, with a special interest in NooJ.Božo Bekavac (linguist and information scientist) is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He received his PhD (2005) at the same Faculty with a dissertation entitled “Automatic Named Entities Recognition in Croatian Texts.” He has participated in several European and nationally funded projects. He has published approximately twenty papers in the fields of Named Entity Recognition and Classification (NERC), corpus linguistics, linguistic tools (NooJ, INTEX), computational linguistics and mark-up languages (XML, SGML).Max Silberztein is a Professor at the Université de Franche-Comté, France, where he teaches Computational Linguistics. He is the author of INTEX (intex.univ-fcomte.fr) and NooJ (nooj4nlp.net) which are development environments used to formalize various linguistic phenomena, from the orthography level to the semantic level.
