Malin Sveningsson Elm is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Media and Communication Studies at Karlstad University, Sweden. She is the author of Creating a Sense of Community. Experiences from a Swedish Web Chat, and co-author of Digital Borderlands: Cultural Studies of Identity and Interactivity on the Internet. Jenny Sundén is Assistant Professor in Media Technology at the School of Computer Science and Communication, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm. She is the author of Material Virtualities: Approaching Online Textual Embodiment, and co-author of Digital Borderlands: Cultural Studies of Identity and Interactivity on the Internet.
