His particular expertise lies in the areas of technology transfer, academic entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship universities, principal investigators and business failure. James’ work has been published in leading international journals such as Research Policy, Long Range Planning, R&D Management, Journal of Small Business Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Rural Studies and the Journal of Technology Transfer.
