Originally given as a paper before American and British defense leaders in Washington, DC, Milton’s original paper is now expanded for use in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate classrooms, as well as libraries and professional military education.

Michael A. Milton (Ph D, University of Wales; MPA, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) is a Presbyterian (PCA) minister, author, and retired U.S. Army Chaplain (Colonel). A former Chancellor of Reformed Theological Seminary, Dr. Milton has served as a pastor, educator, and author of over 35 books. He is the founder of the D. James Kennedy Institute of Reformed Leadership and a leading voice in church planting, pastoral theology, and missiology. He resides in North Carolina with his wife, Mae.
