Blood Tree is a folktale of haunting secrets of the past that brings forth vengeance in subtle way, prophesizing to young Black people that what happened in the past continues to live on in our presence. Blood Tree is about your past sins that come back to haunt you, that nothing is forgotten. just buried in the soil until it rises up out of the oak tree.
