She holds a BA in French and English and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Her main areas of interest include languages, communication, and education sciences. She has co-edited Social Sciences Today: Between Theory and Practice (2010) and Academic Days of Timişoara: Social Sciences Today (2011).Mihai-Bogdan Iovu currently works as a Senior Lecturer at the “Babeş-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He holds a BA in Social Work and a PhD in Sociology from the same university. His main areas of interest include child maltreatment, children”s rights, child protection policies, and evidence-based social work practices. He has authored The Social Universe of Adolescence in the Context of Physical Disability (2007) and Conceptualizing Child Abuse and Neglect within the Family (2008).
