He has written for many educational papers and magazines and was a leading columnist on the Times Educational Supplement for fifteen years, being shortlisted twice as newspaper columnist of the year. Mike has co-authored twenty-seven musical plays for primary schools and written three books on education, including a popular autobiography of his headship years.
