Neil Austin left school early to paint houses. What he missed in formal education he gained from life and reading great writers.
Neil”s first book – “KALA BEAR WARS : A New Mythology” – began as a serial tale on Facebook, posting episodes as he went. That story found some dedicated fans and with their encouragement, he edited and re-structured the material into the first book of a Kala Bear Wars series.
Neil is currently working on a new novel, along with Book 2 of the Kala Bear Wars series. He also writes short stories and essays inspired by his multifaceted roaming life. Meditation, martial arts, addiction, recovery, Buddhism, Feminism, Humanism … it”s all grist for the mill.
