In the Learning and Reference Guide, 61 central concepts of Media Psychology are presented in short texts which bring together the current state of knowledge on specific assumptions and theories. In the 2nd Edition, current concepts from social media are integrated. The chapters are designed according to a uniform plan and include a brief description of the respective concept, an explanation of the key assumptions, a description of the typical methodology, a summary of the current empirical results as well as a critical assessment.
