Niq Mhlongo is a South African writer who has published five novels and three short story collections. His first novel Dog Eat Dog, published in 2004, won the Spanish Literary Award called Mar der Letras Intenecionale in 2006. His work has since been translated into several languages and been awarded with various South African literary prizes.
