‘A Cause Worth Defending’ takes Michael Jannsen back to events leading up to the 1973 Yom Kippur war and a world of intrigue, espionage, and terrorism to defend his family and the state of Israel.
Michael is called upon by the Mossad to fight the forces in the on-going conflict with the Arab world.
There are international repercussions between the Super Powers, the Arab Coalition, and Israel. They play a major role in the making of a global conflict if unchecked.
World events are the background for Michael to find the answers for his cause, a cause to defend all that he cherishes.

Norman Finn spent his working life designing fashion footwear and apparel. He lead the development and pioneered better footwear in Asia through US Shoe Corporation and his own company, Am Asia International. He wrote ‘Life in a SHOE’ which is a memoir, stories of the fashion industry and his adventures around the world. He wrote ‘I shall Know Who I Am’ which is a family saga, a compelling love story, filled with passion for duty and love of country, set in the Middle East, in a world of espionage, death and revenge. Besides being an author, he is currently exhibiting his paintings in a major Boston Gallery. He and his family have lived in Florence, Italy and currently in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
