This book is the first to provide an in-depth analysis about the history, urban development, planning, and preservation of the Lhasa city over the last thirteen centuries. 关于作者
The author is working in the regional and urban studies in China for a long time, and visited the old Lhasa city for many times during the past decade. The author has been served as a national expert of UNDP ‘Tibet Development and Poverty Alleviation Programme’ since 2006, working on the old Lhasa city preservation and international trade development issues.
