The efforts of Muslim scientists, mathematicians, astronomers, doctors, and engineers transformed the Islamic world and ultimately helped stimulate the European Renaissance, prompting a rediscovery of the ancient world that would revolutionize arts, science, and philosophy, and so transform the world.
