Larry E. Holmes authored several books on Soviet Russia, including The Kremlin and the Schoolhouse: Reforming Education in Soviet Russia, 1917–1931 and Revising the Revolution: The Unmaking of Russia”s Official History of 1917. He was Professor Emeritus of History at the University of South Alabama.
