It was the 1st day of October when Elwood Velour purchased an old toy Robbit from an estate sale and by October 31st he’d made Tweed, the Robbit, his partner at Velour Investigations.
Now it’s nearly two years later and Tweed still doesn’t know anything about his past, or if he’s really even alive. Even Dr. Nibelung, who brought him online, isn’t forthcoming with the answers. All he knows is he’s good at what he does and Ms. Berceuse, the secretary, is just the worst.
It’s not until a case involving a fatal vacuuming incident does the mystery finally start to untangle. From then on it’s a barrage of angry anthromotes, wild goose chases, special deliveries, body augers, killer monsters, sex, drugs, and pigeons. Terrible, horrible pigeons.
In the ever present shadow of the Crux Company, among friends and foes, Velour and Tweed navigate the bizarre streets of Port Orion. Are the Least Weasels, the gang everyone stands with, really to be trusted? Why are the anthromotes malfunctioning? Will the Blue Chickens Make it to the Series?
Further down the Robbit hole they go. At least they know they can always count on a good bite at Lower Crust Sandwiches.
