This is a story about a little boy, raised on a farm in southwestern Iowa, who dreamed of making something of himself, something different and maybe better. His name is Tim Pratt. Tim’s early dreams were constrained by his environment and nagging insecurities. He set out to do what he had been trained to do-work hard, overcome odds, lean on others, never give up-and he found himself climbing the ladder of success. Tim attended law school and joined a prestigious law firm-Shook, Hardy & Bacon-where he became a nationally-recognized trial attorney. He then became a business executive and general counsel for a prominent medical device manufacturer, Boston Scientific Corporation.
