Instructions for Practical Living is the quotations and epistles of Wang Shouren, a philosopher in Ming Dynasty and a representative of the school of Taoism in Song and Ming Dynasty. Instructions for Practical Living is divided into three volumes. The first volume expounds the view of unity of knowledge and practice, and the idea that objects are sincere kungfu, which is reviewed by Wang Yangming himself. The second volume contains eight articles, which are written by Wang Yangming himself, and are his later works. The second volume mainly focuses on conscience, and puts forward the view of unity of noumenon Kungfu and saints all over the street.
