Dr. Križan’s is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He received his Ph D in personality and social psychology from the University of Iowa. His research examines how the human capacity for self-reflection intersects with emotion, motivation, and personality. The main focus of his ongoing research is the relation between sleep, personality, and social behavior. Specific questions include: Does our personality predict how we sleep? How does sleep disruption impact self-control? How does sleep impact social interaction with others? Dr. Krizan”s research is funded by the National Science Foundation.
