About the author

Dr. Peter Swatton is Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Northampton. Prior to joining the University of Northampton he was a Lecturer in Science Education at the University of Warwick. He leads the Graduate Teacher Programme for the NLMK Consortium for Primary, Early Years and Secondary provision and continues to research into initial teacher education and the development of beginning teacher′s science subject knowledge.
