About the author
Dat Bao lectures in Teacher Education at Monash University, Australia. He is also an illustration artist and a member of the Creative Writing Group (http://thecreativitygroup.weebly.com/). His poetry has been published in anthologies in the UK, Malaysia, and Nepal; and have been used as classroom teaching resources around the world. Dat Bao has given talks related to learning, teaching, teacher, and education in the UK, US, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, China, Singapore, and Australia. He is the author of a research book entitled Understanding Silence and Reticence (Bloomsbury, London, 2015). In 2014, Dat was nominated for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellent Teaching Award in Monash University.
