Ian Wilkinson first met the Lord in 1971 during the Jesus People Movement. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. Ian taught Junior High School science. He has operated his own business for many years. He pastored in Canmore for ten years at the New Life Centre and more recently pioneered the vision for Huios House. He has led Huios House for over five years and overseen the transformation of the New Life Centre from a typical pastor-led church into a new wine skin that promotes body ministry and becoming huios, and is overseen by a plurality of functioning elders. He has travelled much, teaching on the kingdom in churches, pastor’s seminars, home groups and seminaries in the UK, the Ukraine, the Philippines, Malawi Africa, the US and Canada. He lives with his wife Melodie in Canmore, Alberta. They have three grown children and four grand-children. All three children are certified scuba divers. Melodie may yet one day take the plunge. Maybe the grandchildren will beat her to it.
