Max Wyman is a Vancouver-based writer, critic and commentator. He has written a number of books on Canadian culture, among them Dance Canada: An Illustrated History and Evelyn Hart: An Intimate Biography. He has been a dance, music and drama critic for the Vancouver Sun and the Province and was founding editor of the Sun »s « Review of Books. » His arts commentaries have been heard on CBC Radio since 1975, and he has contributed extensively to publications ranging form The New York Times to The Canadian Encyclopedia.
