Max Wyman is a Vancouver-based writer, critic and commentator. He has written a number of books on Canadian culture, among them Dance Canada: An Illustrated History and Evelyn Hart: An Intimate Biography. He has been a dance, music and drama critic for the Vancouver Sun and the Province and was founding editor of the Sun”s ”Review of Books.” His arts commentaries have been heard on CBC Radio since 1975, and he has contributed extensively to publications ranging form The New York Times to The Canadian Encyclopedia.
