Saleem Haddad wurde 1983 in Kuwait-Stadt geboren. Der Sohn einer irakisch-deutschen Mutter und eines libanesisch-palästinensischen Vaters verbrachte prägende Jahre in Jordanien, Kanada und Großbritannien.
