Helene Raskin White, Ph D, is Professor II of Sociology, with joint appointments in the Center of Alcohol Studies and the Department of Sociology, and Deputy Director of the Center for Behavioral Health Services and Criminal Justice Research at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Her research focuses on the etiology, development, consequences, and comorbidity of substance use and other problem behaviors (e.g., violence, crime, and mental health problems) over the life course. She also develops, implements, and evaluates brief substance use interventions for college students.

 
David L. Rabiner, Ph D, is Associate Director of the Center for Child and Family Policy and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. His recent work focuses on interventions to improve academic performance in children with attention difficulties and a variety of other issues related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), including the nonmedical use of ADHD medications by college students.
