Paul Martin is a Massachusetts native and earned a mechanical engineering degree from the UMass/Lowell, in 1992. Just six months later a car accident rendered him a below-knee amputee. Shortly thereafter he postponed his career as a sales engineer to pursue his athletic dreams … and never looked back. Paul became the first person to compete for four different national teams in skiing, hockey, triathlon and cycling.
